Tech Garden resumes Venture investments through GVA Alatau Fund LLC

The leading innovation hub for the development of Industry 4.0 technologies in Central Asia — the Autonomous Cluster Fund “Park of Innovative Technologies” (Tech Garden) — announces the resumption of activities of the venture fund GVA Alatau Fund LLC.

Tech Garden has additionally financed a share in the authorized capital of GVA Alatau Fund LLC in the amount of 61.1 million KZT. This strategic investment of Tech Garden emphasizes the main role of the fund in the development of innovation and venture investment in the region.

Venture fund GVA Alatau Fund LLC will be aimed at the development of industrial startups for the development of Industry 4.0 technologies. To date, Tech Garden is the largest Foundation in Central Asia, actively financing advanced industrial digitalization projects.

“We are sure that the resumption of the venture fund’s activities will bring fresh impetus to Industry 4.0, contributing to the growth of industrial startups and the implementation of advanced technologies. This is not only a confirmation of our leadership in the region, but also an important step towards sustainable development,” said Baurzhan Kankin, the CEO of the Autonomous Cluster Fund “Park of Innovative Technologies”.

GVA Alatau Fund LLC, aimed at venture investments, initiates the return of investments of the largest portfolio in Central Asia. The Fund will actively develop Industry 4.0, contributing to the growth and development of industrial startups and innovative enterprises in Kazakhstan.

Earlier, 95 startups were funded by the venture fund within the StartUp Kazakhstan international acceleration program.
