Scientific developments and business unite at the dialogue platform – Technology Commercialization Reactor in Almaty

The event will be held on October 31 at 14:00 hours in Almaty at Satbayev University

Science Fund of Kazakhstan in cooperation with Satbayev University and Autonomous Cluster Fund “Park of Innovative Technologies”, operating under the Tech Garden brand, report on the upcoming innovative event that will bring together science and business on a dialogue platform - Technology Commercialization Reactor.

The event will be held on October 31 at 14:00 hours in Almaty at Satbayev University, at 22 Satpayev Street, MMC building, D. Suleyev Center for Science and Creativity (Assembly Hall).

The main topic of this event will be scientific developments in the field of subsoil use. The Technology Commercialization Reactor will provide scientists from universities and research institutes of Kazakhstan with an opportunity to present their innovative ideas and developments to the business community, entrepreneurs and potential investors in order to conclude deals on their further commercialization on the market.

The following projects will be presented at the event:

● Enhanced oil recovery technology for hard-to-recover reserves.

● Plants for processing hydrocarbon-containing waste by thermal decomposition.

● Field and deposit prediction using Multivariate Correlation and Regression Analysis.

● Implementation of geotechnical and oil wells cleaning devices.

● NOAH - monitoring of the waterflood front of oil and gas fields using the ZSB-3D/4D electromagnetic sounding method.

● Production of biomeliorant based on industrial waste.

● High efficiency mill for fine and ultrafine grinding of ore materials.

● Cryo-Adsorbent for metal extraction.

● Treatment of subsurface contaminated wastewater by Chlorella bacteria, cavitation and infrasound.

● “Pollok”. A technique that uses machine learning methods for complex processing of large arrays of area and borehole geophysics data.

The event is expected to be attended by representatives of the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises, Petro Gas Chemical Association, as well as the representatives of the Kazakhstan Association of Oil-Gas and Energy Sector Organizations “KAZENERGY”, JSC NC “KazMunayGas”, experts, scientists, inventors and business representatives.

Previous Technology Commercialization Reactors have reported that 31 of 63 research projects have successfully completed their path to commercialization.
