A series of master classes, united by the general theme “Effective implementation of Industry 4.0 elements in the mining and metallurgical complex through state support instruments”, was held at the Mining and Metals Central Asia 2021 site by representatives of the Autonomous Cluster Fund “Park of Innovative Technologies ”, operating under the Tech Garden brand.

General Manager of Projects Galymzhan Nurmanov told the session participants about the advantages of Tech Garden in the implementation of innovations due to the deduction of 1% for R&D for subsoil users; Andrey Tyan, director of the IntelliSense-LAB digital industry center, and Yernar Maylyubaev, deputy director of the Blockchain & Big Data Lab intelligent systems center, shared successful cases of using artificial intelligence at MMC facilities and the experience of using Blockchain and Big Data technologies at industrial enterprises.
 
Deputy General Director of Tech Garden Kuat Musabekov explained about the opportunities that the Smart Industry Management Platform (SIMP) technology platform opens up for industrial enterprises and innovative companies, and Director of Fund Development Timur Khassanov announced the launch of the Industry 4.0 online academy.

“Representatives of both the extractive sector and innovative companies that offer solutions for MMC in the direction of Industry 4.0 were registered to participate in the session. We were glad to welcome both our proven partners from both industries and new listeners, “said Kuat Musabekov.

The master classes were attended by representatives of such companies as National Geological Exploration Company Kazgeology JSC, NAC Kazatomprom JSC, KAZ Minerals, Dva Kay LLP, KIT SYSTEMS LLP, WEG CENTRAL ASIA LLP, ZHARYQ LLP and many other.

“Following the session, additional meetings were held with representatives of innovative companies that have R&D developments for the mining and metallurgical complex. We are always open to both industry and innovative companies. We advise, provide assistance and support for successful interaction and effective implementations. Tech Garden has about 150 completed projects in its assets, “said Galymzhan Nurmanov.

The 26th Central Asian International Exhibition “Mining Equipment, Mining and Processing of Ores and Minerals” - Mining and Metals Central Asia 2021 - is held in Almaty from September 29 to October 1. Organizer - Kazakhstan Exhibition Company Iteca. Official support for the exhibitions is provided annually by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty and the diplomatic missions of the participating countries. The exhibition is traditionally held at the Atakent Exhibition Center.

According to Iteca, 150 companies from 17 countries took part in the 2021 exposition, including companies from Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Korea, Russia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, South Korea, as well as national groups from Germany, Norway, France and collective stands of the Russian Federation: Lipetsk, Irkutsk, Kurgan, Kursk, Chelyabinsk, Penza and Tula regions.
