Tech Garden and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan meet with industrial companies

Two productive days, together with the team of the Vice-Minister of MIIR RK, were held by the leadership of Tech Garden.

The visit was a continuation of meetings with industrial enterprises, which started in the midst of quarantine, and therefore were held online. The purpose of the meetings is to discuss with industrial enterprises plans and opportunities for the implementation of Industry 4.0 elements in production. Since July, online meetings have been held with industrialists from Kostanay, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Akmola, Aktobe regions and Shymkent.

In Almaty and the region, General Director of Tech Garden Askar Sembin and Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dinara Shcheglova with their teams visited:
- JSC Kelet, where the elements of Industry 4.0 have already been introduced: a robotic line for the production of Kazakhstani gas boilers;
- JSC “Kazlegprom-Almaty” — a high-tech clothing and footwear production, interested in the digitization of production;
- JSC “Abdi Ibrahim Global Pharm” is a pharmaceutical plant built in accordance with GMP standards. Interested in implementing ERP, SAP, 1C, digital warehouse;
- JSC “Almaty Ventilator Plant” — an enterprise for the production of climatic technology and ventilation equipment. The Kaizen system has been introduced, it is interested in digitizing the production of additive technologies.

With each of the enterprises, directions for the implementation of the elements of Industry 4.0 are indicated.

The tools for this are presented to the Vice Minister at the Industry 4.0 Competence Center opened at Tech Garden:
- the project of the Center for Technological Development “Intellisense LAB” for the implementation of AI at JSC “AK Altynalmas”;
- the project of the Center for Technological Development “Blockchain & Big Data Lab” — a platform for the deduction of 1% for R&D;
- an interactive map of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- digest “Successful practices of digitalization of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan” in the Karaganda region.

The meeting with the heads of IT companies — residents of the SIMP platform (IT-Enterprise LLP, Alpha Safety LLP), who are implementing their projects in industry, turned out to be effective. Issues of interaction of IT companies with industrialists, problem points and results of implemented projects were discussed.
