The issues of introducing innovations to industrial enterprises were discussed at MinTech

The autonomous cluster Fund “Park of Innovative Technologies”, acting under the brand Tech Garden, organized a round table under the general title “Effective implementation of elements of Industry 4.0 in enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex

To discuss the problems of digitalization of industrial enterprises, representatives of both the extractive sector and innovative companies offering solutions for MMC in the direction of Industry 4.0 were invited.

The session participants discussed a new development model that involves not only total digitalization of the economy and industry, but also taking into account the triad of requirements of the modern global market:

  • reduction of decision-making time (Time-to-Decision);
  • reduction of decision execution time (Time-to-Execution);
  • reduction of time to market (Time-to-Market).

The session also highlighted the stages of the transition to smart manufacturing, which involve the use of a wide range of technologies and therefore the transition takes place in several stages, each of which corresponds to one of the types of so-called factories of the future. World experts distinguish three types of factories of the future: digital, smart and virtual. These divisions of production differ in the purposes of creation and the technologies used.

And to achieve the above goals, our experts told about the fund’s tools, including:

  • methodology for assessing the needs of the enterprise in innovation and technology selection;
  • development of recommendations on the digital strategy of the enterprise;
  • the possibility of financing implementations at the expense of 1% of the SRS (ZND);
  • familiarity with the digital platform SIMP — a tool for the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies.

Recall that the round table was held within the framework of the international exhibition project “MinTech”. The event is one of the most significant and expected events of the mining and metallurgical industry in the largest industrial regions of Kazakhstan.
