Tech Garden and ZYFRA Asia have launched a free online course for mining enterprises in Kazakhstan

Tech Garden and ZYFRA Asia presented the online workshop “Digital Mining Enterprise. Kazakhstan”.

The free course for specialists and managers of the mining industry consists of 60 short video lectures developed taking into account the specifics and peculiarities of the Kazakhstan mining and metallurgical complex. The workshop addresses both the issues of planning and implementing the digital strategy of the entire enterprise, as well as the digitalization of individual production processes to increase their efficiency. What technologies the modern mining industry relies on, how artificial intelligence technologies and the Internet of Things are used in industry, how robotic mining enterprises function, how digital technologies improve industrial safety, what approaches exist to strategic planning of enterprise digitalization — these are just some of the questions that will be answered by the video lectures of the workshop “Digital Mining Enterprise. Kazakhstan”.

The main purpose of the workshop is to increase the entire range of competencies in the field of organizing the work of a modern digital mining enterprise — from strategic planning to ways to assess the effect of the introduction of IT technologies.

When creating a video course “Digital mining Enterprise. Kazakhstan” used the experience of the already proven online workshop “Digital Mining Enterprise”, created with the participation of more than 20 companies in Europe, Kazakhstan and Russia, which was attended by more than 2,000 mining industry professionals.

“The course program does not replace full-fledged deep learning, but introductory lectures from practitioners allow you to align the conceptual basis throughout the ecosystem of a modern enterprise. Thanks to our workshop, it will become easier for managers to work with their teams, and engineers will be able to get a general picture of modern digital technologies that have appeared over the past few years. When choosing experts for the workshop, we relied on the best and most competent industry players. The gold mining company JSC ‘AK Altynalmas’, a large consulting company IDC CIS, Tech Garden — all of them are present in our course. The training program was prepared together with us by St. Petersburg Mining University, MISIS Dassault Systems, Omegalliance and many others,” said the General Director of ZYFRA Asia Konstantin Kuchumov.

“To raise general awareness about the mining and metallurgical complex and to introduce Industry 4.0 technologies, the Autonomous Cluster Fund ‘Park of Innovative Technologies’ Tech Garden and the Group of Companies ‘Digit’ have created a joint non-profit enterprise ‘Competence Development Center in the mining and Metallurgical Complex of Kazakhstan’. Today, on its basis, we are launching a free online workshop ‘Digital Mining Enterprise. Kazakhstan’. The advantage of the course is that it gives the user the opportunity to get acquainted with the master classes of our experts as a whole or to choose individual, most interesting sections in order to improve knowledge in certain areas of digitalization of the mining industry. We plan to further expand the set of lectures available to users,” said Alpamys Asylbek, Director of the Competence Development Center at the MMC of Kazakhstan.

The course “Digital mining enterprise. Kazakhstan” is available for passage on the Smart Industry Management Platform, created by Tech Garden for the digital transformation of industry and the development of the IT industry in Kazakhstan. You can register for a free course by following the link https://simp.gov.kz/ru/digital. Participants who have attended the entire course and answered the questions of the verification tests receive a certificate of the listener.

The creators of the product recommend managers of mining enterprises to include it in the training and professional development program of personnel. Developers are ready to interact with users, to help establish a dialogue between the heads of companies and competence centers in order to organize the course correctly and as efficiently as possible.

The online workshop is also available to specialists in private — it will be useful for those who want to improve their skills and be aware of modern digital technologies in the mining industry.
