The first meeting of representatives of the mining and metallurgical complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the international format in 2022

On February 24, at the initiative of the Association of Precious Metals Producers Dragmet and ACF Tech Garden, Business Meeting Gold 4.0 was held on the topic: “Technologies of Industry 4.0 for gold mining enterprises”.

Representatives of the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan discussed their plans for the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions for 2022: AK Altynalmas JSC, Polymetal Eurasia LLP, Karazhal Operating LLP, Kazakhmys Smelting LLP, Argo Resources LLP, RG Gold LLP, Balaus Firm LLP.

The idea of a large-scale meeting was born after the conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation between the Dragmet Association and Tech Garden, signed at the AMM2021. During the business rally, a number of projects were laid, which will be implemented by the member enterprises of the Association, Tech Garden and partners of the fund this year.

Welcoming remarks were made by the Deputy General Director of the Dragmet Association Baitov Kanat, as well as the General Director of Tech Garden Askar Sembin. They noted that the introduction of digital tools for the mining and metallurgical industry will not only increase their own profits by reducing costs and increasing labor productivity, but also reach a new technological level of development and find market niches, and integrate into global value chains.

As part of the program of the first day of the conference, the following panel sessions were organized:

  • Industry 4.0 solutions;
  • zoom tools;
  • global trends and prospects;
  • smart infrastructure.

At the same time, presentations of technological solutions were made by:

  • Renat Batyrov — General Director of the Skolkovo Technopark — on the topic “Synergy of innovations — corporations and IT companies”;
  • Konstantin Kuchumov — CEO of Zyfra Asia — on the topic “Effects of digitalization of MMC enterprises”;
  • Daryn Munsyzbaev — Chief Business Consultant of JSC “AK Altynalmas” — on the topic “A practical example: the introduction of elements of Industry 4.0 at JSC “AK Altynalmas”;
  • Tech Garden Technology Development Centers: IntelliSense-LAB; BIM+ laboratory; Center for New Materials and Additive Technologies; Blockchain & Big Data Lab; Industrial Development Center;
  • Residents of the Smart Industry Management Platform (SIMP) — Kar-Tel LLP; “Prosoft-systems”; Asia Soft; Skymax Technologies; Alsi Asia and Perspective.

On February 25, the second day of the business meeting will take place, where educational courses on Industry 4.0 are expected to be held.
